Been a member of ATCC for 24 years, initially as scorer. I have captained

MOST MEMORABLE ATHERSTONE MOMENT: Having spent half a season
crapping myself on how good the wicket I'd worked on for ages would
be for the Bunbury v Warwickshire match we were hosting back in 1995,
I took out the drinks. Roger Harper (ex-West Indies Test player)
then proceeded to force his cup under the jug indicating which type
of drink he wanted and the only words he said were " Good wicket
man, good bounce." After drinks, walking around the boundary,
I was then asked for my autograph!
