Committee At Work

Atherstone's hard-working committee have been a major reason for the club's success in recent years. Here are four of them who undertook a mini-project into operations at other local grounds in a bid to bring new ideas to Ratcliffe Road. Our camera crew caught up with them in Edgbaston, home of Warwickshire.

"It's a good atmosphere but you have to queue up for tickets. Is it a big game today?" Paul Oldham (left).
" Yes, it's England v Australia, first day of the test in 1998 actually you wally!" Adi Williams (centre right).
  Inside the ground.
Potential idea number one - a bookmakers located at the ground.
"54-8. These Aussies are a bit shit" Matt Wood (centre-right). "Good view though".

Mingling with the crowd.   Outside the ground, about to go home. 10 pints later.   In the pub discussing findings. N.B. Barrel's drink is a shandy. Not only that but he swapped it with Wongy's coke (Wongy drove), and picked up the shandy to look hard. He ate a bag of crisps and fell over three times. He later passed out in the clock. Wong drank the shandy.
