ATCC Net Sessions

Atherstone Cricket Club begin their preparations for the 2005 season with the first of 7 practice sessions at Warwickshire's Edgbaston Cricket Centre on Monday 24th January (7pm).

After surviving relegation by the skin of their teeth on the final day of the 2004 season, the 'Adders' will be looking for an improved performance in 2005 in what is sure to be a very competitive Warwickshire Premier League. Atherstone's recently released fixture schedule sees local derbies against North Warwickshire (4th June and 20th August) and Nuneaton (28th May and 6th August) with the campaign getting under way with a home game against Old Eds at Ratcliffe Road on Saturday 7th May.

Existing members who are able to attend the net sessions are asked to meet at the Cricket Centre at 630pm on the 24th. Any new members are welcome whilst anybody requiring further information can contact First Team Captain Vic Clements (07775 544534), 2nd team captain Ian Niblock (07786 074232) or Secretary Paul Oldham (01827 880781).
